Fruit Tree Grafting Workshop

March 7 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm UTC+1

| Free – £3
Our annual Fruit Tree Grafting workshop returns, led by Tim Foster & hosted by Mike Feingold.
Due to Covid19 there is only space for 15 people – physical distancing is required! Priority will be given to people involved in community food growing projects.
To book your place you must contact Mike on 07768 915423 (clicking going or interested on this FB event does NOT reserve you a place).
You will learn about the tools to use, and the theory – why, how and what you can graft. After the theory there’ll be plenty of grafting practice – using our rootstock & tree cuttings, guided by the 2 tutors & other experienced grafters!
You should bring a sharp knife, and ideally your own secateurs – if you have them. We have a few spares to share around – hand sanitiser & cleaning gear will be available.
You should dress warmly with sturdy footwear – it will probably be cold.
The workshop is FREE, but there’s a charge of approx £3 if you wish to take your own grafted mini-tree away with you.
Please arrive before 11am!
There will be a fire & plenty of hot water/mulled cider – we advise you bring your own tea bags & mug/thermos.
There will NOT be any shared meal – so please bring your own food & snacks.
