Foodies Festival returns to Bristol in May.
Foodies Festival (dubbed “Gastro-Glasto”) is the biggest touring gourmet food festival in the UK, featuring MasterChef champions, Bake Off favourites and Great British Menu stars Award-winning chefs and celebrities taking part at The Downs, include: BBC presenter and author, Kate Humble, Great British Menu 2021 finalist, Hywel Griffith and MasterChef 2020 champion, Thomas Frake.
A legion of chefs from award-wining restaurants will give the festival a distinctive local flavour, including restauranteurs and chefs Dan Bowden from 3 AA Rosette awarded Berwick Lodge and Mark McCabe, from Michelin Green Star awarded restaurant, The Ethicurian. Also showing off their signature dishes in the Chefs Theatre, will be MasterChef champion Dhruv Baker, MasterChef: The Professionals Philli Armitage-Mattin and healthy living life coach and author, James Wythe.
At the three-day festival, visitors can enjoy the Chefs’ Theatre, Cake & Bake Theatre, Drinks Theatre, Shopping Village with award winning artisan producers, Street Food Avenue, Feasting Tent, Cook Book Shop, Kids’ Cookery School, fairground, live music stage and family-friendly areas with activities for children. Over 200 exhibitors will showcase their produce, providing festival-goers with a fantastic opportunity to sample the best of the region – and to try a huge selection of delicious food and drink from around the world..
Early Bird Adult Day ticket £19 (on the door £25)
Weekend ticket £38 (on the door £47)
Children aged 12 and under go free when accompanied by an adult.
