City Funds stakeholder workshop
September 17 @ 1:45 pm - 4:00 pm UTC+1| Free
The City Funds is exploring different ways to support charities, community groups and social enterprises so naturally we’ve debated how crowdfunding could help. It’s a modern phenomenon which is raising £millions every year, creating social, economic and community-led impacts across the UK, not only allowing communities and charities to raise funds, but also raising awareness and support to help make great ideas happen. But when you cut through the hype there are flaws such as failure to reach fundraising targets to over promising/under delivering on rewards programmes.
To give charitable organisations and social enterprises in Bristol the chance to explore their options, Bristol’s City Funds are holding a workshop on Tuesday 17 September, run by Crowdfunder. It will outline rewards-based crowdfunding and how projects can use it to raise funds and grow networks.
Sharing tips and tricks, the workshop will cover:
- Raising funds through crowdfunding
- How crowdfunding can help build your network
- How to run a successful crowdfunding campaign
We’ll also share with you the latest from the City Funds and give you the chance to share your views on City Fund priorities.
If you want a clearer understanding of rewards-based crowdfunding for charitable organisations and social enterprises, and the techniques you can use to run a successful crowdfunding campaign book your place.
