The team from the University of Southampton’s Man Food Project is working with Bristol Food Network to better understand the role that meat reduction can play in a Sustainable Food City.

At the end of February we’re running a free workshop for caterers and food procurement teams at Square Food Foundation and we’d love you to join us.

  • How do we get beyond the usual stereotypes about men and meat?
  • What encourages or stops people from making different choices about food?
  • How do we balance health, environmental and business concerns?
  • How do we deal with consumer reactions, positive and negative?

The workshop will bring together people from across the city to think and talk about these things, to share expertise and find ways to a more sustainable future. People of all genders welcome, lunch will be provided.
