Source is a direct result of a desire to bring high quality food to Bristol. We offer a wide menu and fresh produce to suit all budgets and therefore we aim to encourage and enthuse everybody to eat a higher quality of food. As one of the best independent food retailers in Bristol we are ideally positioned to link the best local producers to our customers.
Our fresh fish comes mainly from Cornwall and Devon and is sustainably caught and MSC approved. We also use small, day boats landing in South Wales and Somerset.
Our meat is mainly sourced from small farms in Somerset, we also use salt marsh lamb from Frampton on Severn and poultry from Bradford on Avon. All our meat is free range and the beef is aged where appropriate to give a full flavour and great texture.
Fresh fruit and veg are both sourced as locally as possible and we try to buy organically when available. Our range is varied and strictly seasonal, celebrating different produce as it comes into season.
We import charcuterie and European cheeses from France, Italy and Spain to complement the range of British produce which together with our own cured meats creates a great variety of food.
All the food in the shop is available in the caf?© along with great wines, teas and freshly roasted coffee from Iron Acton.
Café now open late Thursday-Saturday.
