Bristol Sweet Mart was founded in 1978 by Mr Kassam Majothi, a Ugandan refugee. The businesses has since expanded to become a local food shop, wholesale service and deli, selling Indian home-made foods both direct to the public and to over 100 Indian takeaways and restaurants.

Sweet Mart stock around 8,000 different products in-store and online. Around 30% of fresh produce and dairy products are sourced locally and from the South-West. Wholefoods from Essential Trading and Queenswood.
