After one of the toughest growing seasons in living memory, it’s perhaps a good time to reflect on some alternative approaches towards a fruitful 2013. Is now the time to build those warmer, better-drained raised beds? Or to switch to more permanent, weather-resilient planting schemes? Should we invest in solarpowered technology to drain or irrigate our land? Or is it better to pay more commercial growers to cultivate on our behalf? Hopefully you’ll find some inspiration in this issue.
