We’re now aiming to have an in-person Trail in September and have settled on the weekend of 18–19t September.
We need to know if community growing projects are up for participating over this weekend (dependent on the government guidelines, of course). We have decided to stick to one weekend this year to keep things simple. We have already mailed an invite around previous Trail participants, but if we’ve managed to miss you out, please get in touch with Ramona at firstname.lastname@example.org with any queries, or if you know that you’d like to take part, fill in as much detail as you can on this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeyludKvcWaObaQaRZKU6L2UTLzQnbGRsigH01DWuoTYfZEkQ/viewform
We plan to print a main leaflet as usual with as much info as is available at the time of printing, but we would also like to include a QR code link to an online guide to ensure that all the information is as up to date as possible.
We ask that groups submit entries by Monday 26 July.
Finally, A MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who participated in June’s digital Trail, which was promoted during the period when we would normally be throwing open the garden gates to visitors. We have shared the short videos that so many of you made on the Bristol Food Network and Bristol Going for Gold social media, and we have stitched all the films together to make this longer version. We hope you enjoy it!
We have loved hearing peoples’ enthusiasm for their sites. Please share this video where you can to keep inspiring others in the city to get growing/visit/volunteer later in the year for the Trail or other opportunities.
