Bristol Food Union will be taking over the entertainment tent at Breaking Bread, on the third Sunday of each month from May–September.

Never ones to shy away from the tough topics around food and change, we’re bringing together a diverse mix of voices from across Bristol food and hospitality for a series of conversations designed to extend the discussion, and debate some of the pressing issues facing our food, farming, and hospitality sectors.

Dates:

23rd May: Is Bristol a melting pot? Race, diversity, and inclusion in Bristol Food continued…

20th June: Who ‘influences’ our food? A discussion on the role of Bristol social and print media in influencing how we eat.

18th July: Women in the kitchen; do the women of Bristol food enjoy equal representation?

22nd August: Building back better: what does the future look like for Bristol hospitality post-pandemic?

20th September: Youth and the future of food; are young people in food our best hope to achieve the change we need?

Full speaker line-up and tickets go live next week, keep an eye on our social channels for full details:
