Ottolenghi Fundraiser for Coexist Community Kitchen
April 21, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm UTC+1| £60 - £80
Join us for an incredible 3-course sharing meal, whipped up by the very chefs who create the insatiable flavours of the London-based Ottolenghi and Nopi restaurants.
This event is a fundraising dinner for the Coexist Community Kitchen, who use food as a way to support people and bring people together. We focus mainly on social outreach work and partner with many organisations such as Bristol Drugs Project, The Prince’s Trust, Bristol Refugee Rights and Second Step, among others – using food as a vehicle to challenge life’s challenges!
We’re so excited to host the chef team from the Ottolenghi restaurants in our humble little kitchen! As explained by the Ottolenghi team their food is ‘full of harmonious contradictions: it’s vibrant and bold yet familiar and comforting; it’s beautiful to look at yet close to its original form; it’s full of surprising drama yet always comes together as one; it’s noisy yet peaceful, lip-smacking yet warm, simple yet daring’.
‘There’s nothing like a table full of food to bring people together to share in something great and have a fun time. I’m really happy to support the work of Coexist Community Kitchen, which celebrates just this. I’m not able to pop up for the pop-up myself but my chefs will be serving up a feast of some of my Ottolenghi and NOPI favourites. Courgette and manouri fritters, truffle polenta chips, baba ganoush, asparagus and fresh peas, pork belly, sea trout: it’s going to be a delicious feast and a wonderful night.’– Yotam Ottolenghi
We will be feasting together on this deliciously contradictory food on the night of 21st of April- ticket price will include a welcome drink and a 3 course sharing meal.
Yotam Ottolenghi will not be here himself but his chef team will be creating a delicious feast!
Tickets will cost £60 per person up to £80 (Includes £20 donation for Community Kitchen).
