Under the guidance of our qualified tutor you will:

  • learn how to plan healthy, low cost meals for your family
  • develop your cooking skills in our community kitchen
  • make a dish to take home for the family to try each week

Cooking together With CATT
Tuesdays 10 am–12 noon · New session starts 16 January.

Would you like to come to cookery, but find it hard to get to the Gatehouse Centre?

For this group the CATT bus can pick you up from home and drop you off at the Gatehouse Centre for the session (and bring you home afterwards).

Cooking and Nutrition for Adults with (or at risk of) Type 2 Diabetes
Tuesdays 1pm–3pm · New course starts 9 January

Have you been diagnosed with, or told you are at risk of, Type 2 Diabetes?
This cooking and nutrition course will cover what you can eat!

Each week we will make food to take home and talk about:

  • healthy food choices on a budget
  • how to read food labels
  • healthy ways to cook some of your favourite foods!

The Community Cooks
Wednesdays 10 am–2.15 pm

An opportunity for residents of BS13 / 14 to get out and about, meet new people, cook together and share the feast!  This is an ongoing group, which combines healthy cooking with socialising. Meet at No.10 The Peoples Kitchen.

FREE – suggested donation of £2.50 for lunch.
